I’m a pretty average 31 year old single guy from Minnesota to be honest. I enjoy playing the occasional videogame, watching baseball or hockey, going hiking and reading a good book. For videogames I tend to lean towards the FPS games and RTS games, though I also love the hack and slash games like the Diablo series. I was once in to MMO’s, but go away from those when I saw first hand how much a negative effect those games could have a person, and decided I would rather get out before I ever got to be like that.

In the sports world I’m a die-hard Minnesota Wild fan. When the North Stars left Minnesota I felt it was a blow far worse than the Twins and Vikings leaving combined. When we got the Xcel Energy Center and the Minnesota Wild, the sports scene in this state really felt like home again. Beyond Hockey I’m a Chicago Cubs fan in the baseball world, though the I will always enjoy the Minnesota Twins, but got tired of the office failing to make any real moves to get great players, or keep the great ones they do get. Beyond that, I also developed an interest in the Padres, which makes me think I have a thing for the underdogs. I’m also a fan of the Minnesota Swarm, our professional LaCrosse team, which is a sport I hope attracts more widespread appeal. As for football, I’m a bit separated from the average person in that I don’t much care for football, though if I had to pick a team I would still cheer for the Minnesota Vikings.

My tastes in books lean primarily towards the Fantasy genre, as do my tastes in most things. I’m pretty open to all genres really, but I always lean towards the more fantastic in books, games, films and pretty much anything. It doesn’t help that I’m somewhat of a Peter Pan, in that I haven’t really grown up and have no desire too. I still enjoy young adult books and animated movies. There’s just a certain appeal to stories that are more innocent and simple. It just seems that many writers for books and film and television have this idea that vulgar language, rampant and needless sexual exhibition, excessive violence and often strange “artsy” visuals is what makes something more mature. Often times it just fails outright and makes the entire thing convoluted, so I happily admit that I still enjoy more fun and straightforward stories that rely on the story being told instead of elements that seem to be placed for no other reason than to make it more adult oriented.

At any rate, that’s some basic information about me, but below is a table with some more simple and basic information.
